Growing up in Red Deer, I had the opportunity to be involved with basketball in this city from a young age. I have a 5 year double-major degree in education and kinesiology, two areas that fit in very well with coaching. I am a NCCP-certified coach who's dream was to open and operate my own competitive basketball club, and now that HYPE Hoops has been founded (along with HYPE's Legends team), my dream is becoming a reality. I have been coaching basketball for over 7 years now, and have the ability to provide next-level skill development opportunities for athletes who want to train for the next level of basketball. 

Izzy joined our program in our inaugural year, and played a key role as a leader in her year playing for the Legends. Since then, she has taken on the role of assistant coaching alongside coach Reid and is currently being mentored to continue developing her skills as a coach and trainer.
